Our services include:
Waterproofing
We specialize in both industrial and
domestic roofs. Our two main techniques consist of reinforced acrylic
which is a process used to seal the roof by priming the substrate with a solvent
primer and then heating a reinforced acrylic sheet with a gas heat gun and
allowing it to cool into the shape required. A layer of bituminous aluminum is
applied for ultraviolet protection. We also make use of an impregnated
membrane which is used to seal the roof or substrate by impregnating the
membrane with a fibrated acrylic compound which is then applied to the primed
surface.
Damp proofing
After determining the cause of the damp and
eliminating the possibility of a plumbing problem or roof leak, we remove the
effected paint and plaster before priming the surface with the relevant plaster
key. Once dry, we re plaster the area and paint the new surface.
We ensure minimal colour variation to the repaired surface by
painting the entire wall and not just the patch we have worked on.
Plumbing
Our plumbing techniques include the
replacement of ruptured geysers in accordance to SABS and insurance company
requirements. We unblock drains, repair damaged piping and detect wall leaks
where necessary. We do not charge extra for work done after hours and
provide detailed proposals prior to commencement when required.
Painting
No job is too big or too small. We paint
both interior and exterior surfaces. Our “no short cuts” approach ensures that
signage is removed prior to commencement and our preparation work is meticulous.
We believe that the result is in the detail and therefore take extra care with
your assets. An example… covering all garden plants around the areas we work on
to protect them from splatter or covering light switches and light fittings with
masking tape to protect them from same.
Repairs of the resulting damage
In many cases the insurance companies pay
for resulting damage from the abovementioned water leaks. We cater for numerous
different forms of repairs as a result of water damage such as ceiling boards
and cornis damage etc. Our costing is reasonable and the workmanship is
guaranteed.
Bird deterrent
and control
This part of our business includes removing
and replacing the bird proofing.
